Alexander Thomas Lowes is an English motorcyclist who was born on September 14, 1990. He joined the Kawasaki Racing Team in the Superbike World Championship in October 2019 to work as Jonathan Rea's teammate, who has won many world championships.
He rides a Yamaha YZF-R1 in the World Superbike competition for the Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team. In August 2019, he was informed that Toprak Razgatlioglu had taken his place in 2020.
He was the British Superbike Championship champion in 2013 and won the Suzuka 8 Hours in 2016, 2017, and 2018 while racing a Honda CBR1000RR for Samsung Honda. He has competed in races for the FIM Superstock 1000 Cup and the British Supersport Championship. He is fellow rider Sam Lowes' identical twin brother.
