FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What type of gloves should I choose for biking?
Selecting the right gloves for biking depends on your riding style and preferences. If you ride on track days or in cold weather, consider gloves made of durable materials with additional insulation. For MotoGP racing, look for lightweight gloves providing maximum grip and joint protection. Make sure the gloves fit snugly but are not too tight. This ensures you have grip and control over your bike while keeping your hands comfortable and warm.
How do I know my glove size?
To find your glove size, measure the circumference of your dominant hand just below the knuckles. Use a cloth measuring tape for accuracy. After measuring, find the size on the sizing chart that matches your measurement. If your measurement is between sizes, it's often best to choose the larger size. Remember, gloves should fit snugly for better control, but they shouldn't be so tight that they restrict blood flow.
Can I wash my biking gloves?
Yes, you can wash your biking gloves, but the method depends on the material. Most leather gloves should be wiped down with a damp cloth to avoid damage. For fabric gloves, check for a care label. You can usually hand wash them in cold water with mild soap. Avoid using a washing machine or dryer, as this can ruin the shape and fit. Always let gloves air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
What features should I look for in winter gloves?
When choosing winter gloves for biking, look for insulation to keep your hands warm. A waterproof or water-resistant outer layer is essential to keep hands dry. Thinsulate and Gore-Tex are popular materials that provide warmth without bulk. Additionally, look for gloves with reinforced palms for grip and control. Finally, touch-screen compatibility is helpful if you need to use your phone while on the go. These features will keep your hands warm and functional in cold climates.
Are there gloves designed specifically for racing?
Yes, there are gloves specifically designed for racing, often used in MotoGP events. These gloves are made from high-performance materials that provide both flexibility and protection. They have features like reinforced knuckles, palm sliders, and extra padding to protect against impact. Racing gloves are often lighter in weight to enhance comfort and control. When selecting racing gloves, focus on fit and safety features to ensure both your comfort and protection on the track.

I am both a sport-touring guy and a track day guy. This 2-piece suit is fantastic for BOTH. So while this suit is expensive, if you can use it for both touring and track days like I do, it sure beats a $500 track day leather and $500 textile jacket-pants. I am 6' 1'' and 215 lbs and the 56 fits me perfectly. I ride a Tiger 1050 on the street and this suit flows good air from the S1 fabric. I wear heated vest underneath if cold and an eddie bauer goretex rain shell over the top if raining. There are no pockets except one small one in the chest that I use for my gas credit card so it works perfect for me as carry all my wallet, phone, etc in the tiger's hard cases. At track days on my Superhawk, the avro is just plain awesome and is very comfortable in sport bike position. So, while one might expect this suit to be awesome on the track, I have found it to be excellent touring gear which is not expected. The only think a bit strange is walking around with big ole knee sliders on but on this suit they are black and blend in #I have the black, white, orange version#. Unlike many suits, this one has nice white and orange flicks to give some pretty good visibility. The top and bottom zip together with no fuss at all. It's not quite as easy as using your typical textile touring gear but it fits tremendously better and and I feel 200% safer in the leathers. Highly recommended.

It is a really awesome ladies leather jacket. Right out of the box the leather is supple and comfortable, soft and relaxed to wear. I can't wait till cooler weather to put leather jacket to the test. One thing though; you might want to buy a size larger than your usual wearing size. I wear a size 8 in jeans or dresses but I had to get a size large in this leather jacket.
